The Yalta Historical Museum is one of the best sites in Yalta, located at Pushkinskaya 9 (654/323-065). The Roman bust on display is magnificent, and there are several postcards and other artifacts from the 19th century. The history and heritage of Yalta are chronicled here, and you can obtain a true sense of the culture of the nation of Ukraine, as well. The guided tours are outstanding and provide a great deal of insight into Yalta and the surrounding area.

The Museum of Lesya Ukraina can be found at Yekaterininskaya 8 (654/325-525) and is a fantastic literature and arts museum. Ornate furniture and artwork that once belonged to prominent Russian nobles are on display here, as well.

The Fairy Tale Meadow is home to the Uchan Su Waterfall, perhaps the most scenic locale in the vicinity of Yalta. The natural wonders here are abundant and extraordinary, and both of these sights are near the Polyana Skazok Campground. They can be somewhat tricky to find, so be sure to ask one of the locals for directions. The waterfall and the cliffs are breathtaking, and bringing your camera is an absolute must. The water trickles off the rocks at the top of the waterfall and gradually accumulates into a full stream of cascading magic. The hike to get to the base of the falls is a magnificent one.
